Here is my Valentine's Day tip for making supermarket flowers look fabulous... Remove all the leaves on the stem so they are not in the water; it keeps your water cleaner and draws your eye up to the flowers not to the mess in the vase. Second, cut the stems so they sit 3-4 inches above the top of the vase, this will give you a fuller look that is more balanced to the size of your vase. Happy Valentine's Day.
